A nonprofit community service conspiracy
Sleezy chicken is a staple of life in Blossburg, PA. Every year a group of anonymous volunteers spend about every other Saturday morning from spring to fall getting up early and barbecuing chickens that local organizations then pair with sides and sell to raise funds for various activities happening in and around our community.
If you are interested in volunteering to help cook, stop over to the pit on a Saturday morning of one of the scheduled bbqs by 8am or as early as 6:30 am. Wear your old clothes. They’ll be greasy and smell very tasty afterwards.
