General Information
The Blossburg Hometown Banner Project is a non-partisan, non-political and non-profit program designed to be a living tribute to all military men and women who live, have lived, or attended school in the Blossburg area.
Each banner will be 24” x 48” and will include a photo of the veteran, their name, branch, era of service and their hometown. Sponsor’s name will be on the bottom of the banner. Banners will be displayed in and around the Blossburg area.
Sponsorships for a banner are TBD and include the banner and brackets.
Update May 4, 2024
The Blossburg Hometown Banner Project has been transferred to Blossburg V.I.B.E. and the original Blossburg Hometown Heroes organization has been disbanded. The banner project is currently on hold while we identify resources needed to move forward with this project. We expect to start up this project again once we have received a Sales Tax Exemption certificate from the state, which will allow us to setup online ordering of banner placements. For reasons outside of our control, itis taking longer than anticipated to receive the exemption certificate.
