Coal Festival Facts:  The first Coal Festival was held on a very cold Memorial Day weekend in 1993, 201 years after coal was discovered in Blossburg.  Last year was the Coal Festival's first year in which it was canceled several hours into the second night.  It was closed down when a severe storm hit our town causing widespread damage and power outages across Tioga County, Pa.  This year the Coal Festival is coming back strong to celebrate its 20th year.  They invite you, your family and friends to help them make this year a spectacular event!

A free class is offered by Studio B to anyone new trying to get in shape through the use of Zumba.  So if you are looking to get fit this year then check out "Spring Spectacular Fitness for Summer," at Studio B in Blossburg.  It is a Zumba Dance Session and it will start on May 1st.  Classes will continue through May 29th from 5:00 P.M. until  6:00 P.M.  Any male or female aged 13 and upwards are welcome to get in on the special Spring price.  For more information or to reserve a spot please call (570) 404-4271.

Let us show our support to Theresa Muszynski, by sending cards of encouragement to: Theresa Muszynski, 1160 Morris Run Rd, P.O. Box 124, Front St, Morris Run, Pa 16939.   Theresa is recovering from serious injuries she received when she was struck by a vehicle while returning to her car.
