As you continue your drive down the mountain, you'll see this sign, Blossburg's coming events calendar. The sign is updated frequently by Sleezy Contruction members. Taken in July 1998, this photo shows the sign advertizing the chicken barbecue Sleezy held to support this web site. The First United Methodist Church is directly behind the sign.

As the home page says, the "We're Blossburg Proud" watertower is the first sight you see as you enter Blossburg.
The second sight is this sign, which showcases the thriving community organizations and churches of Blossburg. The annual Coal Festival is featured with the dates carved in wood under the rest of the smaller signs. In 2001, the Coal Festival will be held May 23-26 at Island Park.
