Belated Happy Birthday wishes go out to Hazel Brooks,Aug.3 and Helen Staron,who turned 93 yrs. old on Aug.7.

Happy Birthday to Ashley Russell on Aug.11;Erma Stanley, 12th; Mary Botsford and Jasmyn Marriner,13th; Miles Wood and Micheal Levandoski,14th; Michael Johnston and Krista Barton, 16th; Joshua Jones and Marie Musingo,17th.

Happy Anniversary to Sharon and Mickey Levandoski, who will celebrate their 30th on Aug. 14, and to Lisa and Stacey Wilson on Aug.16th.

The children at Toddler University Daycare and Preschool are holding a fundraiser during the month of August. They are selling Frosty Hollow Candles, for which they will receive 50% of the profit.They are using the money to replace broken toys, torn books, craft supplies, etc. for the up-coming winter months that they tend to spend alot of time indoors.You can help by purchasing a candle from any child that attends TU or stop by to look at a brochure.The children and staff appreciate your support!

To view all of the many services that the Blossburg Memorial Library has to offer, visit blossburgmemoriallibrary@epix.net.The library is more than just a place to borrow books- they offer programs for children, on-line tutorial classes, fax and laminating services, use of computers and the internet, etc.Take a minute to check it out!

REMINDERS:

A food pantry is held the 3rd Monday each month from 10am-12pm and 6pm-8pm at The First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. For more information, contact Betty Johnson at (570)638-2805.

The Farmer's Market is at the Blossburg Plaza every Sat., 8 a.m.- 1p.m., rain or shine. New vendors are welcome. For information, contact Tonya at mcnamara@epix.net.

T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.

Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30pm and every Wednesday at the fire & ambulance building, 6:30pm
