A Garden Party benefiting the Blossburg Memorial Library will be held on Sunday, July 27th, from 1pm to 4pm, at The Hamilton Club in Morris Run. Enjoy great food, garden tours and good company! Tickets are $25 per couple or $15 single. For tickets please call 638-2197 or 638-2295.

The Blossburg Memorial Library is offering a FREE computer class for Senior Citizens beginning Wednesday July 16 and continuing on July 18, 23 & 25 from 10 AM to Noon. Class sessions will cover computer basics, Internet Use, Emailing and Microsoft Word. Register at the Library or call 638-2197. Class size will be limited to 5 students. Donations to the Friends of The Blossburg Memorial Library will be accepted.

The library has three new patron computers thanks to a grant from the Gates Foundation and matching funds from the Friends of the Blossburg Memorial Library. The new computers are equipped with high speed DSL and Microsoft Office 2007.

Blossburg V.I.B.E. has partnered with the Endless Mountain Music Festival and the Blossburg-North Penn Alumni Association to create an exciting, unique weekend for residents and visitors focused around two events: the opening night concert of the 2008 music festival and the 20th annual alumni reunion.

The opening night of the third Endless Mountain Music Festival will bring Blossburg an exciting blend of classical music and contemporary Latin American rhythms with internationally and nationally recognized musicians.Friday, August 1, North Penn High School Auditorium, Hannibal Street. 7:00 p.m. Lecture; 8:00 p.m. Performance. Post-concert reception at First Citizens National Bank, 300 Main Street

The weekend continues on Saturday with the 20th annual Blossburg-North Penn Alumni Association reunion banquet. Each year, over 200 people gather in Blossburg to renew friendships and revel in old memories. With a buffet dinner by Custom Catering and dancing till dark, you’ll think you’re still 18! T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.

Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30 p.m.
