Captain James Isaacson, of Post St., Blossburg, has been called to serve a second tour in Iraq. He is presently in Wisconsin for training and will be leaving from there in about six weeks. Please pray for his safe return.

Congratulations to the Senior class ladies at NPHS for defeating the Junior class in a Powder Puff football game. The final score was 36-16. Good game. Boy, can Kori Watkins kick! I think Coach Dickinson needs to be recruiting her for the Panthers!

I would like to remind everyone that Friday is the last day of school, with a 1:00 pm dismissal. Keep in mind that children will be everywhere during the normal school hours. From the Acorn to the footbridge is a high traffic area for bikes, scooters, walking, etc. Kids do not always watch for cars the way they should. We must keep an extra eye open for them. Thank you in advance for helping to keep all of our children safe.

Congrats to the Ollock's for a job well done on their Main St. business. It looks great! The flowers around the trees on the sidewalk added a nice touch.
