Sleezy Construction and BBQ Co. will be selling BBQ chickens and dinners,for take-out, on Saturday, May 26, starting around 10 am, in front of the Bloss Holiday Market. All profit will go to the Blossburg State Coal Festival.
Blossburg V.I.B.E., Visions in Business and Entertainment, will be selling Mother Jones, also known as the Miners' Angel, silhouettes this year to celebrate our coal heritage. This black primed cutout is approximately 3
1/2 feet tall and is ready to be individually decorated by the buyer. They will be available at Bloss Hardware for $12.
The Farmers Market will start May 26th, 8 am to 1 pm in the Blossburg Plaza and run every Saturday. Vendors needed that sell home made crafts,baked goods, grow or pick their own fruits and vegetables etc. For more information call Tonya at 638-3112 or mcnamara@epix.net.
REMINDERS:
The VFW post#8730, has cancelled their JUNE Ladies Auxillary meeting. Meetings will resume in July.
A food pantry is held the 3rd Monday each month from 10am-12pm and 6pm-8pm at The First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. For more information, contact Betty Johnson at (570)638-2805.
T.O.P.S. (Take off Pounds Sensibly) meets every Monday at the First United Methodist Church of Blossburg. Weigh-in is at 5 p.m.
Blossburg BINGO! Every Monday bingo is held at St. Mary's Hall, 6:30pm and every Wednesday at the fire & ambulance building, 5:30pm
