The Blossburg Memorial Library Book Club meets the last Monday night of the month at 6:30 pm in the community room. All adults are welcome to attend. Babysitting services are available free of charge.

Check out the library web site for more information about services they provide. Did you know you can download audiobooks from our site and they have free Wi Fi? Times are tough, checking books out of library is FREE!

Blossburg V.I.B.E. had 25 people in attendance at the 2009 planning meeting held January 21st. Three main community concerns were brought up, the need for a community activity center where teens and adults could gather for group activities, the development of organized outdoor activities such as hiking and biking, not just for adults but for teens also and, after school activities and a place to hang out for school age kids. Everyone was given the challenge to look into what it would take to make these goals happen and return next month, February 18th, 6 pm downstairs in the Blossburg Library with that information. These are the things community members that attended felt would benefit our community, so if you are interested in participating please come to the next meeting. Remember these meeting are open to anyone who lives works or plays in the Blossburg area.
