There are quite a few December birthdays at Riverside Apartments: Jeansylvia Anderson (1st), Jim Conroy (2nd), Bonnie Holdren and Paul Bogaczyk (3rd), Angie Bubacz (7th), Arden Harer (11th), David Scheib (24th), Arnold Knapp (31st). Happy birthday to you all! The Riverside Christmas dinner and party will be held December 13th.

Blossburg is lighting up! Homes and storefronts are being decorated for VIBE’s "Light Up the Holidays" Christmas decorating contest. Get your decorating done for the December 20 judging. The Blossburg Memorial Library will be transformed into the town of Bethlehem on December 13, from 6:00 until 8:00pm. Come to “A Night in Bethlehem” and participate in interactive sites indoors and out. Your friends and neighbors will become townspeople who will help you make crafts and take part in other activities. Visit places such as the blacksmith shop, the bakery, and the stable (of course). Arrive whenever you like, but plan at least 45 minutes to see everything!

Cub Scout Pack 2059 is extending an invitation to Arnot residents. Come join them for their Christmas celebration at the Bloss Township Recreation Center on December 17 at 7:00pm. Santa will be there for photos!

Irma Cretsinger of Morris Run fell this past week. Keep her and Lewis in your prayers as they struggle with health issues.

Studio B is offering several classes through December. Fall Fitness Exercise are held Monday and Wednesday from 6:00-7:00pm. The class currently has men and women attending, so don’t be shy – come in! Tuesday morning yoga runs from 9:00 until 10:00 under the direction of Ann Fisher-LoPinto. Thursday evening yoga with Ann is held from 5:00 until 6:00. Get a discount if you bring a friend! For more information, call 404-4271.

In last week’s article, it was stated that the VIBE website has a link to the Save Our Schools page. The link is NOT on the VIBE page, but on the blossburg.org page. If you haven’t visited the blossburg.org site lately, you should check it out, since there have been several updates lately.
