About
Our Event |
|
This is the first geocache event put on by Blossburg V.I.B.E. In conjunction
with the Blossburg State Coal
Festival that celebrates the coal heritage of our region, we are putting
on this event to highlight some specific historic locations in our town.
We have three geocache locations. Caches will be put out the morning
of May 23, 2008.
Each cache will contain general items, location history and several
prizes for the first person who locates the cache.
General items contained
within these caches: (please
do not remove these items from the site)
- Small notepad and pen for log
(please write name, hometown & any other info so
we know you were here!)
Historical information packet
Prize items:
(you can take these - first come, first served - something you're not
interested in? leave it for the next person!)
- EMPTY V.I.B.E.
Water bottle (please DO NOT remove the bottle with the actual
cache in it.)
- Wild Asaph
Outfitters gift certificates, coupons and free rental tickets
- Angelina's
Pizza gift certificates
(PLEASE NOTE:
Each cache contains a variety of prizes - may not contain all described
above. IF you don't see any of these items when you reach the cache, that means someone else has already found them.)

the locations - have fun! |

recommend visiting these in the opposite order than listed) |

river. Turn and hike a few feet north along river to small footpath to river.
Go to the edge of the river and hike
south along the river - look for something OLD and BIG! |
